The Mountain Laurel Festival is held annual in Wartburg Tennessee ( and celebrates the flower and promotes tourism within Morgan County. There will be food, crafts, artesian vendors, BBQ contest, children’s activities, wine tasting a hiking marathon, historic building tours and a car show.

The Big South Fork Amateur Radio Club (BSFARC) will also be hosting a special event station at the festival using the club’s call sign of W4BSF. The BSFARC will feature both HF and VHF radio stations showcasing amateur radio as a hobby and for emergency communications. Information on ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services) will be available along with details on upcoming classes/events.  The club will also be providing a special QSL card for station contacts. 

A paper log will be kept during the festival and any station that has made contact may send a self addressed business envelope to the address below for a QSL card. Thanks in advance for you patience and cooperation in the handling of QSLs.
